You will stay in a comfortable 4-star hotel, enjoy daily breakfasts and lunches, and savor a special Peking Duck dinner on the third evening, followed by a traditional Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, where you will be met by a private transfer to your hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore Beijing at your leisure, soaking in the city’s blend of modern and traditional charm.
In the evening, relax at your hotel and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City
Morning
Tiananmen Square:
After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. This is the heart of China, where you will see the Monument to the People’s Heroes, a testament to China’s historical resilience.
The Forbidden City:
Next, explore the Forbidden City, the grand palace that was home to the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. With over 9,000 rooms, the Forbidden City is the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. Your guide will take you through the imperial courts, where you’ll discover the lives of the emperors and see priceless historical artifacts.
Afternoon
Jingshan Park:
After a traditional Beijing lunch, visit Jingshan Park, a beautiful hilltop park just north of the Forbidden City. Climb to the top of the hill for a panoramic view of the entire Forbidden City, a breathtaking sight that will deepen your appreciation of this ancient architectural marvel.
Return to Hotel:
In the evening, return to your hotel to rest and unwind.
Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace
Morning
Mutianyu Great Wall:
After breakfast, head to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, located in the Beijing suburbs. This section of the Wall is well-preserved and less crowded, offering a more peaceful and scenic experience. Walk along the Wall, marveling at its grandeur and the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Afternoon
Summer Palace:
After lunch, travel by private vehicle to the Summer Palace, China’s largest and most well-preserved royal garden. Stroll through the lush gardens, admire the beautiful Kunming Lake, and explore the magnificent palaces on Longevity Hill. A boat ride on the lake offers a peaceful way to experience the grandeur of this imperial retreat. Your guide will share stories of the Qing Dynasty emperors who once escaped the summer heat in these tranquil surroundings.
Evening
Peking Duck Dinner and Peking Opera Performance:
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Peking Duck dinner ( a la carte and paid on your own), a culinary experience that showcases one of Beijing’s most famous dishes.
After dinner, head to the Liyuan Theatre to watch a performance of Peking Opera, a classic Chinese art form that combines singing, dancing, and acrobatics in a colorful and dramatic spectacle.
Return to Hotel:
After the performance, return to your hotel for the night.
Day 4: Temple of Heaven and Hutong Tour
Morning
Temple of Heaven:
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would pray for good harvests. This architectural masterpiece is known for its symbolic design and stunning beauty. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is particularly impressive, with its intricate woodwork and vibrant colors.

Shichahai Hutong Tour:
After lunch, head to the Shichahai area, a historical and cultural preservation zone in Beijing. Shichahai consists of three lakes: Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai, and is surrounded by some of Beijing’s oldest hutongs.
You will explore these narrow alleys by rickshaw, visiting traditional courtyard homes (siheyuans) and learning about the daily lives of Beijing’s residents. This area offers a unique glimpse into the old Beijing that has largely disappeared in other parts of the city.
Afternoon
Departure:
After the Hutong tour, you will be transferred to Beijing Capital Airport for your departure, concluding your memorable Beijing journey.
