Day 1: Beijing to Datong

After lunch, explore the Yungang Grottoes, a stunning collection of 53 caves and over 51,000 statues. This site is a masterpiece of early Chinese Buddhist art, with intricate carvings dating back to the 5th century.

Evening
- Check-in at Datong Hotel:
Check in at a comfortable 4-star hotel in Datong, where you can relax after a day of exploration. - Dinner:

Day 2: Datong to Beijing
Morning
- Visit to the Hanging Temple:
Begin your day with a visit to the Hanging Temple, an architectural wonder suspended on the cliffs of Mount Heng.
- This temple, over 1,500 years old, combines elements of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Our guide will share the temple’s history and explain the engineering feats that have kept it standing for centuries.
Afternoon
- Lunch and Leisure:
Enjoy lunch near the Hanging Temple, followed by some leisure time to explore Datong’s local markets or historical sites before heading back to the city center.
Evening
- Return to Beijing:
Board the high-speed train for your return to Beijing, reflecting on the rich cultural experiences of the past two days. Arrive in Beijing in the evening, concluding your memorable tour.
