Hi,
I am Chinese and have been living in United States for very long time. I use US passport and have Chinese tourist visa which will expire in May 2028. I am interested in making two tours in one trip just by myself. My first tour is the April 1 Chongqing 3-day tour, with one or two days on my own before taking a flight to next city. Depending on whichever is most available, the next tour can either be in Chengdu, Shanghai, or any city you can suggest excluding Beijing and Hong Kong. Likewise with one or two days on my own after the second tour, I will take a flight back to United States. My maximum days staying in China should not be more than two weeks.
Will you be able to help me for a detailed itinerancy including arrival cities, hotels, dates, pickups and drop-offs, departure cities, trip advises, and etc.
Thank you very much,
Jimmy Cheng
Dear Mr. Cheng,
Thank you for reaching out to us at Ruqin China Travel! We’re delighted to hear about your upcoming trip to China and your interest in exploring multiple cities.
We would like to clarify that we specialize in offering expert travel advice rather than providing tour operations or tour price quotations. Our focus is on helping travelers like yourself with planning, itineraries, and cultural insights to enhance your travel experience.
Given your plans, we can certainly offer some general advice and suggestions to help you structure your two-city tour, with recommendations on cities to visit, things to do, and the best routes to follow. Here are some general steps you can consider:
Chongqing 3-day Tour: A great starting point! Chongqing is famous for its spicy cuisine and stunning landscapes. You can explore attractions like the Three Gorges Museum, Dazu Rock Carvings, and the Yangtze River cruise.
Second City Options: After Chongqing, you can fly to either Chengdu, Shanghai, or other cities like Xi’an or Guilin depending on your preferences.
Chengdu: Known for its pandas, Sichuan cuisine, and laid-back atmosphere, it’s an excellent choice.
Shanghai: If you prefer modern architecture, shopping, and vibrant nightlife, Shanghai is perfect.
Xi’an: If you’re interested in history, the Terracotta Warriors and ancient city wall are must-see sights.
Travel Logistics: We recommend booking flights between cities in advance, and you can find a range of accommodations to suit different budgets in each of these cities. Regarding airport pickups and drop-offs, many hotels offer these services or you could use taxis or rideshare apps like Didi.
Visa Considerations: Since your Chinese tourist visa is valid until May 2028, you should be all set for your two-week stay. Just ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date from China.
For a more detailed itinerary, I would suggest working with a local tour operator who can provide specific pricing, accommodations, and guided tour options.
If you have any more questions or need advice on specific locations or cultural tips, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to assist with any further travel advice you may need!
Safe travels, and we wish you a wonderful trip to China!
Best regards,
Ruqin China Travel Team
