Itinerary:
Morning:
- 7:30 AM: Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, and you’ll embark on a comfortable drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall, approximately 1.5 hours away. During the drive, your guide will provide insights into the history and significance of the Great Wall.
- 9:00 AM: Arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall, where you’ll take a cable car to the top. Known for its fewer crowds and beautiful surroundings, Mutianyu offers a peaceful hiking experience. Walk along the ancient wall, explore its watchtowers, and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
Midday:
- 12:00 PM: After your hike, descend by cable car and enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a nearby restaurant. This meal will feature local dishes, offering a taste of Beijing’s culinary culture.
Afternoon:
- 1:30 PM: After lunch, you will head to the Ming Tombs, about a 1-hour drive away. Your destination is the Dingling Tomb, the burial site of Emperor Wanli.
