今年2月中旬，在我的家乡——中国杭州，仍然是初春。今天下午，我在一棵大约2米高的树上看到了几只脖子上有一圈白色羽毛雀鸟在唱歌跳舞。这是一种鸣禽，主要分布在中国和越南。它的中文正式名字叫：领雀嘴鹎（Collared finchbills）。
领雀嘴鹎喜欢在低地、低矮的山和花园里觅食，栖息在树梢、屋顶和电话线上。 我仔细检查了一下。树上的四只鸟都显得肥嘟嘟的，眼睛炯炯有神。他们高兴地在树上跳来跳去。发出的鸟叫声非常清澈好听。
我用手里的长焦镜头仔细观察，领雀嘴鹎鸟的胸脯羽毛是深橄榄绿色，头部黑色，白领（这是它们最大的好认的特点），脸上有灰色的“胡须” 。
他们吃水果，辅以种子和昆虫。他们是一夫一妻制，终生配对。雌性在5月份在树上筑起杯状的巢，然后在7月份之前饲养两窝雏鸟。
它们不迁移，很好地适应人类的干扰。
Recently, there are a lot of cherry plums in our community in bud, also known as red leaf plum, which attract groups of collared finchbills (2-6 in a group) to taste, chirp and jump happily among the branches.
Cherry plums often has single flowers, pink; the leaves are purple and shiny, and leaves fall in winter. The collared Finchbill is a local resident birds, which is easy to identify. It is wearing a white scarf (collar), green, light yellow mouth and black head.
Because they are local resident birds, they are not afraid of humen. Sometimes we look at them, they are not nervous. They are calm and live in harmony with us.
