Welcome to Ruqin China Travel website. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully as they govern your relationship with us. By making a booking or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. Travel Papers
It is your responsibility to have a valid passport, visas, or any other required permits before starting your journey. While we can assist with the process, we are not liable for any issues related to insufficient documentation.
2. Health Guidelines
Please ensure you meet all health and vaccination requirements for the regions you plan to visit. Travelers to Tibet must provide a doctor’s certificate confirming their fitness to travel due to the high altitude. We recommend consulting your doctor before departure.
3. Insurance
Ruqin China tour packages include Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance per adult. However, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance from your home country, especially if your booking only includes hotel or flight arrangements.
4. Payment
Deposit & Final Payment
A 10% deposit is required when you book your China tour. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your departure. If your booking is made within 30 days of your trip, full payment is required upfront. Your payment indicates that you have agreed to these terms.
Methods of Payment
We accept the following payment methods:
- Secure online payment via PayPal using Visa or MasterCard
- Visa or MasterCard via email
- Wire transfer
Currency Exchange Disclaimer
For credit card payments, we charge in Chinese Yuan (CNY). Your bank or credit card company will convert this amount to your local currency, which may result in a slight difference due to fluctuating exchange rates and additional service fees from your bank. We recommend checking the exchange rate and your bank’s policies before making a payment.
5. Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your trip, the refund policy is as follows:
- 22+ days before departure: Full refund
- 15-21 days before departure: 70% refund
- 8-14 days before departure: 50% refund
- 0-7 days before departure: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Note: Different cancellation policies may apply for groups larger than 10. Please consult with your travel advisor.
6. Itinerary Changes
You can request changes to your itinerary before booking at no extra cost. However, after the deposit is paid, any changes will incur a $20fee per request, plus any additional costs from third-party providers (e.g., airlines, hotels).
7. Baggage Limits
Domestic flights in China allow 20kg for economy, 30kg for business, and 40kg for first class, plus carry-on luggage. Excess baggage fees are your responsibility. All suitcases must have a lock, or they may be refused by airport staff.
8. Issues and Compensation
If you encounter any issues during your trip, please contact your travel advisor or our 24/7 customer care immediately. Should you need to file a claim for compensation, please do so within 15 days of your tour’s end, providing all relevant documentation. Claims made after this period will not be considered.
9. Liability & Responsibility
We strive to provide accurate travel information and quality services by working with reputable third-party providers. However, we are not responsible for errors, omissions, or changes made by these providers. We are also not liable for losses, injuries, or damages due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or other unforeseeable events.
Ruqin China Travel reserves the right to substitute services, alter itineraries, or cancel tours when necessary. In case of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund.
10. Service Alteration or Cancellation
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time without prior notice.
