Morning:

  • 8:00 AM: Start your day with a private pick-up from your hotel. Your first stop is the magnificent Forbidden City. This iconic palace complex offers a wealth of photographic opportunities, from grand halls to intricate architectural details. Under the guidance of a professional photographer, you’ll learn how to capture the majesty and history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

  • 10:30 AM: Next, head to Jingshan Park, located just north of the Forbidden City. This park is the highest point in central Beijing, offering panoramic views of the entire city. The morning light is ideal for capturing the vastness of the Forbidden City and the surrounding urban landscape.

Midday:

  • 12:00 PM: Break for lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. This will give you time to relax and review the morning’s photos while enjoying a delicious meal in a comfortable setting.

Afternoon:

  • 1:30 PM: After lunch, explore the historic Hutongs of Beijing. These narrow alleys and traditional courtyard homes provide a glimpse into the city’s past and are perfect for capturing intimate, street-style photos. You’ll photograph the daily life of residents and the unique architecture that defines old Beijing.

Visit Hutong and Courtyards
  • 3:00 PM: Continue to the Olympic Park, home to modern architectural marvels such as the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. These structures are striking examples of contemporary design, and you’ll learn how to use lines and shadows to create stunning architectural photos.

Evening:

  • 5:00 PM: Your final stop is the Central Business District (CBD), where you’ll capture the towering skyscrapers, including the iconic CCTV Tower and the tallest building in Beijing, China Zun. As the sun sets, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph the city’s skyline bathed in the warm glow of dusk, creating a perfect end to your photography tour.
