There are several ways to travel from Luoyang Longmen Railway Station to the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, including taking a taxi, public transport, or switching between the subway and buses:
Taxi
The distance from Luoyang Longmen Station to the Longmen Grottoes is about 10 kilometers, and the drive takes only around 10 minutes. The taxi fare is approximately 10 RMB, making it a very convenient option.
Public Transport
Subway and Bus Transfer
From Luoyang Longmen Station, take Line 2 of the subway to the Bailitang Station. After exiting the station, choose Exit C, where you can catch a bus that goes directly to the Longmen Grottoes scenic area. Alternatively, exit through Exit A, where you can pick up an electric shared bike. Ride to the bus stop next to the Longmen Grottoes, and from there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Big Stone Gate ticket entrance.
