Itinerary:
Morning:
8:30 AM: drive to the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum located within the grounds of Xiannongtan (Temple of Agriculture). This museum is dedicated to the art and history of ancient Chinese architecture, making it a must-visit for architecture enthusiasts.
One of the highlights is the ceiling known as “Tian Gong Zaojing” or “Starry Sky Caisson,” originally from the Longfu Temple, a national first-class cultural relic from the Ming Dynasty. You will also see various models and relics that showcase the intricate designs and craftsmanship of ancient Chinese buildings.
Midday:
11:30 AM: After exploring these architectural wonders, head to Tieshu Xiejie in Xicheng District. This narrow, winding street is known for its unique layout and well-preserved old Beijing atmosphere. It’s a great spot for capturing the essence of old Beijing with your camera, and for experiencing the city’s quieter, more intimate side.

2:00 PM: After lunch, continue to Wanshou Temple in Haidian District. Built in 1577 during the Ming Dynasty, Wanshou Temple is now home to the Beijing Art Museum.
