Excellent tour

Alexandra_G,
This Xi’an Morning Food Tour was easily one of the best tours I’ve done in China—and all thanks to Buren, our incredible guide! He’s not just knowledgeable—he’s a true food lover with a deep connection to the people and stories behind every dish. From the first bite to the last sip, everything was delicious and totally local. We visited tiny shops that only locals know about, and even watched dishes being made from scratch right in front of us.

Buren also gave us fantastic food tips for the rest of our trip, including where to eat lunch and dinner like a local. His energy, storytelling, and passion for Xi’an’s food culture made the whole experience unforgettable. I can’t recommend this tour enough—skip your hotel breakfast and do this instead. You won’t regret it!

Delicious, fun, and authentic!

What a fantastic way to start the day in Xi’an! Our guide, Jerry, was warm, funny, and full of local knowledge. We visited places that I would’ve never found on my own—tiny breakfast stalls tucked into alleyways and cozy spots run by local families for generations.

The food was incredible—from fresh hand-pulled noodles to crispy pancakes and a creamy rice porridge that I still dream about. The tuk-tuk ride added an extra layer of fun, letting us see more of the city in less time. We ended the tour at a massive local market that felt like a slice of everyday life in Xi’an. Highly recommend this Xi’an morning food tour!

This Xi’an morning food tour was the highlight of my time in Xi’an. Our guide, Amber, was amazing—passionate about the food and the city. She introduced us to classic breakfast dishes and explained their history in such an engaging way.

I loved how relaxed and genuine the whole experience felt. We weren’t rushed, we ate a lot, and Amber even helped me find the perfect gift at the market for my friends back home. It was just a small group of us, which made it feel more personal. If you want a true taste of Xi’an beyond the guidebooks, this is the tour to book.
