Two transport changes require attention today. Late-night buses around Beijing’s Second Ring Road have been adjusted, while a weekend sporting event will disrupt access to parts of Changping.
Attractions
No consequential closure, opening-hour change or new reservation rule was found for Beijing’s major attractions.
However, visitors planning to reach Mangshan National Forest Park by bus this weekend should read the Changping transport notice below.
Shopping, Dining and Hotels

Night buses affected by Second Ring Road construction
From September 8, overnight roadworks on the northern section of Beijing’s Second Ring Road have caused late-evening bus changes. The notice does not provide an end date; normal service will resume when the roads reopen.
Affected routes include 9, 21, 39, 44, 52, 58, 69, 75, 122, 139, 200, 618, Night 8, Night 20 and Night 29. Some buses skip stops after about 10:00 or 10:30 p.m. Routes 44 and 200 finish earlier, while both directions of Night 20 are suspended.
The changes affect areas around Beijing Railway Station, Jianguomen, Chaoyangmen, Dongdan, Fuchengmen and Xizhimen. Late-night travelers should use the subway before its last train or check the latest route information before boarding. Beijing Public Transport Corporation
Changping buses to change for weekend triathlon
Temporary road controls for the 2026 Beijing Changping Triathlon will affect 11 bus routes on September 12–13.
Most importantly for visitors, Bus 886 will terminate at Changping Dongguan instead of continuing to Mangshan National Forest Park from 6:00 a.m. until traffic controls end on both days.
On September 13, routes 326, 493, 643, 886, 992, 949, 962, Special 105, Special 106, 345 Express and C104 will operate shortened or altered services. Visitors heading into eastern and northern Changping should allow extra time and consider the Changping Line subway followed by a taxi. Beijing Public Transport Corporation
Sightseeing Services & Visitor Access
The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services opens at Shougang Park today, September 9. Extended Metro Line 11 service, free connecting shuttles and temporary sightseeing buses are now operating for the event.
The area will remain busy through September 13, particularly during the public days on September 12–13. Metro travel remains the most practical choice. Official CIFTIS transport guide
The most urgent change is the indefinite late-night bus disruption around the northern Second Ring Road.
