Guilin’s culture and tourism complaint line also stays open 24 hours a day.
By mini program: Search for “Guangxi 12345” in WeChat or Alipay. Then submit your complaint online.
After you submit your case, 12345 sends it directly to the relevant department.
You do not need to spend time finding the right office yourself. The system helps connect your problem with the people who can handle it.
3. Consumer Disputes: 12315 and Market Regulators
Some problems are not really tourism issues. They are consumer disputes.
For example, you may buy a fake product, face unreasonable prices, or experience price fraud.
In these situations, the 12315 Consumer Complaint Hotline can help.
This is the nationwide market supervision complaint service. Meanwhile, authorities will review your complaint and send it to the appropriate department based on the situation.
You can also use the National 12315 Online Platform. Submit your complaint through WeChat or Alipay mini programs.
Later, you may choose the ODR online dispute resolution system when submitting a complaint on the 12315 platform.
ODR allows participating businesses to communicate with you directly through the platform. Then, both sides can try to solve the problem more efficiently.
When your issue involves shopping, prices, or products, this channel is often more targeted. Keep your receipts and payment records ready. They help your case move forward.
4. Direct Support at Attractions: Li River Scenic Area
If you experience a problem while visiting the Li River Scenic Area, you can contact the attraction directly.
Sometimes, handling an issue at the location is faster. The staff know the area well and can respond more quickly.

First, pay attention to the complaint deadline.
Under the updated Tourism Complaint Handling Measures, travelers can submit complaints within 90 days after the tourism contract ends.
Do not wait too long. After this period, your complaint may no longer be accepted.
Meanwhile, once your complaint enters the process, the handling department usually makes a decision within 60 days. For more complicated cases, the period may extend by another 30 days.
It is also helpful to know what types of complaints they accept.
Tourism complaints usually cover situations such as:
- A travel company does not follow the contract

- A contract cannot be fully completed because of force majeure
